Hans Augustenborg is a Danish designer and entrepreneur. Hans’ creative career started in the advertising industry working as an Art Director for brands like Red Bull, Swatch, Canon and Carlsberg. Just after receiving multiple creative awards for his work, he decided to quit his carrier to pursue his start-up idea.
Together with his childhood friend, he founded, Birdie, which is an alternative indoor air quality monitor. The project was crowdfunded with $500.000 on Kickstarter during 30 days and Birdie is now sitting in more than 10.000 homes, offices and schools around 70 countries. The qwerty yellow bird has won multiple design- and innovation awards and received recognition from Wallpaper, Monocle, Fast Company and many more.

Occupied by with concepts like storytelling, simplicity and humour in design, Hans will talk about how to find creative ways to solve problems of the modern world with intuitive and inspiring solutions. With offset in his own product, Birdie, Hans will illustrate how simple products can be more effective and explore the power of letting the user take control over technology and not the other way around.
